From East: Rt. 44 to Rt. 7 South, right onto Rt. 112.
From West: Rt. 44 to 112 East.
There are separate entrances as follows:  The entrance for competitors is located off Rt. 41 west of the farm entrance; turn left at Hotchkiss Corner.  Spectators will enter at the main entrance to the farm on Lime Rock Road on Rt. 112.  Please follow signage carefully. Visit our website www.townhillfarm.com for directional maps.

Tentative Schedule:
Fri: YEH, FEH, NEH – Approximate 1:00 pm start of competiton. Championship and Horse Trial Cross-country courses open-3 pm.
Sat: (P, PCh, PHCh, PT, T, TCh, THCh, N, NCh, NHCh, BN, BNCh, BNHCh) All Dressage-7:30 am start in three rings; Horse Trial Only – Show Jumping-10 am start; All Cross-country-11 am start.
Sun:  (P, PT, T, N, BN) Dressage-7:30 am start; Show Jumping-9:00 am start with Championship Divisions followed by Horse Trial Divisions; Cross-country-12 noon start, (cross country start subject to adjustment depending on the number of Championship competitors)
*ALL Horse Trial competitors must state preference of competing on either Saturday OR Sunday, however, levels may be combined onto one day only with the exception of Championship Levels.  All Championship Levels will be conducted over Saturday and Sunday with Dressage on Saturday, Cross Country and Show Jumping on Sunday.  Based on the number of Horse Trials entries at each level the one-day format will be offered on, Saturday and Sunday.

Entry: BN-Ch, BN, N-Ch, N, T-Ch, T, PT, divisions: $180.00 – P-Ch, P, $190.00.  YEH: $120.00 includes USEA Starter Fee; FEH: $90.00,  NEH: $90 includes USEA Starter Fee.
Stabling: Stabling on grounds on a first come first serve basis with overflow to off grounds option available,  $90.00. Friday day stalls $40 are available.

Competitor’s note: A minimum of 6 entries per division are required by the organizer to conduct each level of YEH and FEH and NEH divisions. Ribbons 1 – 6 will be awarded to each division. On grounds overnight stabling at $90.00 per stall of Friday day stalls $40 are available. For additional information or requests please contact the organizer.

Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee. After C.D.-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months. CT State Law requires all horses to have proof of current rabies vaccination-please include with entry.
Competitor Information
Awards:
1st place prize plus ribbons through 8th place and 1st place, only, dressage ribbon in each division. Special Awards: Jockey Club TIP Awards in each division, please send horse TIP registration to secretary with your entry for eligibility.  Special Sponsor Prizes to be awarded to the Championship Divisions.
Stabling/Veterinarian:
$90/stall per night. $40 Friday day stalls available. Portable stabling on grounds available on a, first come first serve,and overflow  basis with an overflow to off grounds, near-by.  Initial bedding only will be provided.  Stalls must be stripped include a $25 refundable stall deposit separate check, please. Your  deposit will be returned once your stall is checked.  Veterinarian: Millbrook Equine Veterinary Clinic, (845) 677-5500, # posted at secretary´s office.

Test & arena sizes: PCh-USEF 2014 Preliminary Test B-Lg.  P-USEF 2014 Preliminary Test B-Lg.  PT USEF 2014 Preliminary Test B-Lg. TCh-USEF 2014 Training Test B -Sm.  T-USEF 2014 Training Test A-Sm.  NCh-USEF 2014 Novice Test B-Sm. N-USEF 2014 Novice Test A-Sm. BNCh-2014 Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. BN-USEF 2014 Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Arenas: All on grass.
Cross-Country:
P-2400 m @ 520 mpm. PT-2200 m @ 470 mpm.  T-2500 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 350 mpm. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. Water and ditches at all levels. Terrain: Rolling hills. Great 2017 Championship and Horse Trial cross country courses at all levels designed by Jeff Kibbiel. Cross-country courses closed August 11th.
Other Information:
Cross-country course closed August 11th.  Show Jumping Course is on rubber/sand all weather footing, enlarged ring.  Entries limited to 300 total over the two days of competition.  Levels will be divided/combined as entries warrant, state preferences under the Eligible Section and be sure to include birth date on entry.
All dogs must be leashed at all times.  Food and beverages available on grounds.  Helmets must be worn at all times when mounted.  XC Pinny holder required with number insert provided.  A limited number of holders will be available on grounds for $20. Visit www.townhillfarm.com for updates and competitor information.  All Championship Divisions will be held over Saturday and Sunday with all dressage and cross country on Saturday and all Show Jumping, in reverse order of standing, on Sunday.  ALL Horse Trial competitors must state preference of riding Saturday OR Sunday, however, levels may be limited to one day only based on the number of entries at each level, competitors will be notified in advance.  Please join us on Friday at 5:30 PM, for competitor’s complimentary wine and cheese welcome  and Saturday at 6:00 PM Championship Welcome Party, in the headquarters tent, hosted by, Ward Belcher, our Sponsors and the Town Hill Farm staff!
